Bankura District Judge Office Recruitment 2024 Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens in the prescribed proforma for the preparation of a panel to fill up the vacancies mentioned below, in different categories of posts in respect of the Judgeship of Bankura.
The Application must be submitted online to the websites www.calcuttahighcourt.gov.in/ and https://bankura.dcourts.gov.in/ commencing from 24.05.2024. The last date of submission of the online application is 24.06.2024 (midnight).

Essential Qualification Of Bankura District Judge:–
Bankura District Judge Candidates applying for the post of Upper Division Clerk must be a graduate from a recognized university and having proficiency in the use of computer and must possess at least a Certificate in Computer Training from a recognized institution and a satisfactory speed in computer operation.
Candidates applying for the post of Lower Division Clerk and Seal Bailiff must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board and must possess at least a Certificate in Computer Training from recognized institution and a satisfactory speed in computer operation in Bankura District Judge recruitment .
Candidates applying for the post of Process Server and Group-D must have passed Class-VIII from any recognized School or recognized Madrasa or any other recognized equivalent Institution.

Eligibility Age of Bankura District Judge:-
- Not less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2024 for all categories of posts as per Notification no.11653-F(P) dated 30.12.2011 of the Department of Finance, Government of West Bengal.
- Relaxation of age limit for five years in case of candidates belonging to SC & ST Category and three years in case of OBC(A) & OBC(B) category is permissible.
- The upper age limit in case of Person with Disability is 45 years
- Relaxation of age limit in case of Ex-serviceman category is as per existing Government Rules.
Mode of Examination of Bankura District Judge:–
(A) For the post of Upper Division Clerk: –
Phase I :- (100 Marks)
- Examination of Bankura District Judge Office Recruitment 2024 There will be 50 Multiple Choice Questions on General English, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude etc. each carrying 02 marks. 1 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer. Duration of the test will be of 60 minutes. Successful candidates of Phase -I examination will be shortlisted for Phase-II examination and Personality Test in the ratio of 1:5, i.e., five times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Paper-I (the minimum qualifying marks will be fixed by the District Recruitment Committee).
Phase-II: Computer Proficiency, Work Management & Writing Skill (100 marks):–
- Candidate has to answer (in English) on some questions relating preparation of Draft Note, Report, Letter Writing, Paragraph Writing, Precis Writing etc. in computer. Duration of the test will be of 2 hours. After typing the answer, candidate has to put signature in the print out of the answer sheet.
Phase-III: Personality Test (40 marks):-
- Shortlisted candidates for Phase-II examination will be called for Personality Test.
- On the basis of total marks obtained in Phase-I, Phase-II and Phase-III the final panel will be prepared.
- The standard of examination shall be at par Graduation level.
(B) Lower Division Clerk and Seal Bailiff:-
- The candidates shall have to appear in a Written Examination of 100 marks comprising 50 Multiple Choice Questions each carrying 02 marks on Simple Arithmetic, English, Bengali, and General Knowledge. 01 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer. The duration of the Examination will be of 60 minutes. On the basis of the result of the Written Examination (the minimum qualifying marks will be fixed by the District Recruitment Committee), the successful candidates will be called for Personality Test in a ratio of 1:5, i.e., five times the number of vacancies in each category, which will be of 20 marks. Based on the total marks obtained in the Written Examination and Personality Test, the final panel will be prepared. The standard of examination shall be similar to that of the Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
(C) Process Server and Group-D: –
- The candidates shall have to appear in a Written Examination of 100 marks comprising 50 Multiple Choice Questions each carrying 02 marks on Simple Arithmetic, English, Bengali and General Knowledge. 01 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer. The duration of the Examination will be of 60 minutes. On the basis of the result of the Written Examination (the minimum qualifying marks will be fixed by the District Recruitment Committee), the successful candidates will be called for Personality Test in the ratio of 1:5, i.e., five times the number of vacancies in each category, which will be of 20 marks. On the basis of the total marks obtained in the Written Examination and Personality Test, the final panel will be prepared. The standard of examination shall be similar to that of Class-VIII.

- No fees are required by the candidates belonging to the Exempted Categories whose names will be sponsored by the appropriate authorities
- This exemption of fees is not applicable to the candidates, belong to Exempted Category, applying directly without any sponsorship from the Labour Department, Government of West Bengal.

Admit Card:-
containing the Venue, Date and Time of Examination and other information will be made available for download 02(Two) weeks before the date of Examination till the very day of Examination. Candidate must download the Admit Card (Hall Ticket) and bring a printout of the same to enter the Examination Venue. Candidates called for test(s) shall be required to appear at their own expense and no T.A. / D.A. is admissible.
